Methodist Mission Aotearoa (previously WesleyCom) is responsible for the coordination of Methodist social and community services throughout Aotearoa New Zealand. The members of the Methodist Mission Aotearoa committee are appointed annually by the Methodist Conference. Membership is drawn from people in the four main Methodist Missions (Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland), along with people from social service initiatives in Hamilton and Palmerston North.
Methodist Mission Aotearoa works with local parishes and community organisations to strengthen neighbourhoods and communities through mentoring and capacity building. This philosophy fits well with their role as a Funding Manager distributing funds in the Programme Area of Supporting Families and Social Services.
